Routing Information:

While the Oregon City SD wishes to avoid frequent changes in routes, stops and schedule times, it is occasionally necessary to adjust bus schedules when new streets are opened, bus overcrowding occurs, or new housing developments place students in new locations.

Due to variances in traffic, buses can run up to five minutes early or late. Students need to be prepared and arrive at the bus stop five minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time.

It is not unusual for a bus to be late on its daily route. There are several situations, which may cause such a delay. Sometimes the regular bus driver becomes ill at the last minute and a substitute driver is assigned to the route. Because the substitute is usually unfamiliar with the route, a schedule delay may result. Other times, weather, driving conditions, road construction, mechanical issues, delays at railroad crossings, or heavy traffic interferes with the schedule.

Riding Eligibility:

We are happy to provide safe and friendly transportation to elementary school students that live more than 1 mile away, and middle and high school students that live more than 1.5 miles away from their assigned school.

Helpful Reminders:

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for getting their children to and from the bus stop safely

  • Bus stops are set to provide the safest walk path

  • If your family has moved, please update your address with the school as soon as possible

  • Check back frequently during startup and after a ride lapse for possible changes

We provide change letters to riders if their route is altered after school starts.

Moving to Oregon City:

If you're moving to Oregon City, please check the boundary maps page to make sure you are within our school district and will be provided with transportation.
